PureBrowser ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
Short version: We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. PureBrowser does not require an account. All browsing data (history, bookmarks, settings) stays on your device only.
📊Information We Collect
✓ We collect NO personal information.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
- Device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, Android ID)
- Location data
- Browsing history or visited URLs sent to our servers
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
- Crash reports or diagnostic logs sent to external servers
Note: PureBrowser makes web requests to the websites you choose to visit on your behalf. Those third-party websites operate under their own privacy policies, which are independent of ours. We never intercept, store, or transmit your browsing activity to our own servers.
📱Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us:
- Bookmarks you save
- Browsing history (stored locally; can be disabled in Settings)
- App settings and preferences (theme, search engine, privacy options)
- Website cookies set by sites you visit (managed entirely on-device)
All locally stored data is protected by Android's built-in security (Android Keystore / EncryptedSharedPreferences).
🛡️Built-in Privacy Protections
PureBrowser includes the following privacy features to protect you while browsing:
- Ad & Tracker Blocking — blocks known ad networks and third-party trackers by default
- HTTPS Enforcement — automatically upgrades HTTP connections to HTTPS where possible
- Incognito Mode — browsing history, cookies, and form data are never saved to disk
- No Telemetry — zero analytics, crash reports, or usage data sent to any server
🔑Permissions Used
PureBrowser requests the following Android permissions, each required solely for core browser functionality:
- INTERNET — required to load web pages you request
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — used to check connectivity before loading pages
No permissions are used for data collection, advertising, or tracking purposes.
🗑️Your Right to Delete Your Data
You can delete all locally stored data at any time:
- Open PureBrowser
- Go to Menu (⋮) → Clear Browsing Data
- Confirm deletion
This permanently removes all browsing history, cookies, and cached data from your device. Uninstalling the App also removes all associated data automatically.
👶Children's Privacy (COPPA)
PureBrowser is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal data from anyone, it poses no privacy risk to minors.
📋California (CCPA) & European (GDPR) Rights
Because we collect no personal data:
- There is nothing to access, correct, export, or port
- There is no data to delete from our servers (none is ever sent)
- We do not sell or share personal information with third parties
California residents or EU/EEA citizens with questions may contact us. We will promptly confirm that no personal data about you exists on any external system.

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
